I'm a bit old and crusty, and I was really use to wordpress. I like the idae of NOT having to manage a database, and just letting my bullshit live on flatfiles. I need a bit of time to get everything up to snuff.

Who needs live comments? Just link it to your social and get comments there

@RandomDamage @da_667 Fedi is open enough that with a little JavaScript you can just let it power your website's comment section.
(Not necessarily a flip-a-switch kind of thing, it still requires some nerdery, but depending on your cast of mind it may be the kind of nerdery you find fun)
