Basically my only reservation is that $220 gets uncomfortably close to what you'd spend to buy a Nintendo Switch or Steam Deck, and that does not seem appropriate for a device I would mostly use to play "ToeJam & Earl"

Attached: 3 images Anbernic's product line is an absolutely baffling explosion of different models, so it can be hard to figure out which is the right one for you. If you're a beginner who's just looking for something inexpensive and easy, the RG35XX line is probably what you want. All models in that segment will play games up to around the original PlayStation generation. You can get one of these for less than $60 in the sale. @garrencho I still have my original Nintendo DS in a nightstand drawer. Even take it out periodically to play Advance Wars or Civilization Revolution. Mostly I would just like to play those games on a screen that's bigger than a postage stamp
