@winter @Mondobizarrro @kimapr it should work; Pleroma, to my knowledge, treats incoming blocks appropriately.

As for why it's not on by default: block bots and similar scum. But setting it to true will make Akkoma behave like Mastodon w.r.t. sending remote blocks

@kimapr @winter @Mondobizarrro yeah but I think the concern was that if you federated blocks you'd learn about those through being on the receiving end of a pile on campaign which sucks
