#Gnome should lower the threshold for when it starts notifying you of low battery on peripherals.
Keyboards and mice needs very little battery to work perfectly. So I use up the last few % left in my AA batteries in these peripherals. But since Gnome gives a warning notification – that you have to manually click away – as long as the battery is on 10% or less, I get this warning for months! Months of annoyance for no reason. I'm sure people throw away perfectly fine batteries b/c of this.

@forteller you can always file an issue against gnome-settings-daemon or gnome-control-center, and the maintainers will direct you to the right place if it's not appropriate.
The component that pops up the notification is gnome-settings-daemon, but the thresholds are set in upower.

If anyone liked my idea, I made an issue for it and would appreciate a thumbs up
