@[email protected] @[email protected] while i might sound like i am joking it is a legitimate problem and it's why the 18+ rule was hard for me to implement but we were at a breaking point. I am thankful for the instances around us who took on our minors after they had to leave here.

@[email protected] @[email protected] this is also why we do not suspend remote minors, it was mainly an issue with minors on our instance and the issues that arise.

@[email protected] @[email protected] it's unfortunate and it's just a symptom of the fact that a bunch of queer minors do not have stable home lives and need a place to express themselves. we are not adequately prepared to handle that though. it is extremely difficult and emotionally taxing.
