@bunnybeam depends on what layer. I am interested in GoToSocial’s reply controls which if adopted by other instance software would provide a fix. I also am interested in what misskey/sharkey can do to not show the reply at all instead of giving me a notification for "(Private)"

@bunnybeam @puppygirlhornypost2 we first will need a "canonical list of replies" and also misskey (and forks) do not provide a list of replies… so… steps
