@Hyperiontrails Well, you do have AuDHD on your profile description, so that makes perfect sense that you'd feel like you're being pulled in 2 directions at once.
Our wife and us experience the same sometimes.
There's a really cool table on Embrace Autism describing a comparison between common autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD traits and challenges.

Welp. Started off thinking no way I could be ADHD and been slowly moving towards 'maaaaybe it's auDHD" for a few months. Damn, if that auDHD column doesn't describe me to a T. I've always thought of myself as a walking pile of contradictions so this does make a kind of sense.

@Aerliss Has anyone here taken the official ADHD test and not been diagnosed as ADHD? I had that happen, but I'm not so sure the test is right :blobfoxlaugh: @SleepyCatten @[email protected] @actuallyautistic

@Cattz There's the older ASRS 1.1:
https://embrace-autism.com/asrs-v1-1/And the newer ASRS-5:
https://embrace-autism.com/asrs-5/Plus folks seem to be combining this with QbTest. Even NICE is recommending its use, at least for younger people.

@Aerliss An important thing to understand about ADHD is, the neurotypicals have established a strong societal bias against diverging. As a result, a lot of ADHD people are discouraged from seeing the condition in themselves.

@SleepyCatten Technically, the ASRS is not a 'test' but a 'screening tool'.
