@chris Nope. If a province charges pst and pst separately, then yes. But HST provinces get it all off. The provinces can elect to cover the pst portion themselves or get the Feds to pay back the pst portion of the HST to the province. Itβs billions in provincial tax, though, so I doubt any HST province is going to cover that themselves.
