Alright everyone in the #US, it looks like we have until the end of the month for people to register to #vote: if Republicans pass this "#SAVEAct" thing, people effectively won't be able to register anymore.
So, that needs to be the focus for everyone this month, regardless of affiliation.
Even if you don't particularly like any candidate, if you're not registered, you not only can't vote, but your signature doesn't really count on a #petition or letter, and you certainly can't change your mind if a candidate unveils a policy you really want to back at the last minute. Pressure from #activism in a democratic system is only meaningful if you can back it up with a vote.
Even if you're already registered, be sure to check your registration, as Republicans may have purged you from the voter rolls.
To check your registration, and find out how to register, go to...

Followup, in case people don't know about this: the #SAVEact will effectively make #VoterRegistration impossible between it passing and the election because, even if people can find this paperwork that it's asking for, local election offices will have to implement new processes to determine whether or not real documentation was submitted, on top of the steps they already take to ensure that a voter registration form can be linked to a real citizen. As they won't be able to get that before the registration deadline, they won't be able to operate.

@Raccoon is this a realistic concern given the presidential veto and no chance of an override?
Some of the talk about Save Act seems to be a psyop to reduce turnout by threatening to reduce turnout.
Get all your friends to register (and regularly recheck their registration if they are in a swing state!), we are going to win this thing!

@joshrivers
If the SAVE act is attached to a spending bill like this, Biden might not be able to veto it. The only way to get rid of it might be to elect the Democrats and have them repeal it in January.
