but a music library catalog thing, that accepts the music I already have? and can play stuff in whatever order including weird algorithmic things I come up with? and keeps track of what I listen to in a normal and private way? and doesn't expire or charge a monthly fee? sign me up

I think I understand the affection people have for winamp, and being able to customize it or whatever. but I really don't give a shit what my music player looks like, I don't want to look at it at all more than I have to
