Can we find a way that actors announce some kind of metadata on their profiles, such as this can be aggregated self entitlements of belonging to a certain group?

Something happened some 10 years ago, where we thought it could be good to publish self-descriptions of communities, then centrally in OSM.

Maybe we can do that in a decentralised manner now, by tagging my profile as NGO, for example?

We could reuse Wikidata Q and P IDs for semantic tagging.

@smyru Yes! Although, a bit disappointingly, they named them "Mastodon address", even for non-Mastodon servers.

For example: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q1495666

"Mastodon address" is actually a Misskey server.
