Is there a reason the official Mastodon Android app reports different number of votes for the same poll compared to when viewing the same poll on the web?

Tusky also shows 530.

@stefan
I see 524 votes on my instance. -
@Andres Yes, I'd expect people on different servers possibly seeing a different number.
But if I'm logged into my own server, I should see the same number regardless of the client. I wonder if this is a bug.

@stefan click on the pollās refresh link first, then if it's still the same, hit refresh. it's a refresh issue on the web ui, the app doesn't have

@stefan
For the numbers, it seems like it's counting twice and the real number is closer to 530. -
@stefan It is a multiple choice poll. One is probably the amount of people voting, the other the amount of votes (one person might have voted for multiple options).

Ah, okay, correction.
On the web: 530 *people*
On the Android app: 1,071 *votes*So this being a multiple choice poll, it's showing all the votes on Android, but the total number of people voting on the web.
Hm, okay.

@ConnyDuck Yep, just figured that out!

@Andres Yeah, each shows a different thing.
