Sorry about the lack of response, I was actually looking into how to handle some of the edge cases, mainly federated WordPress blogs, and Mastodon servers hosted on a subdomain that use the domain name in the username.
But this looks great!
Just one thing, you might want to remove {.text-body-secondary} from the two links inside content/index.md, for consistency with the other links in that section.

@stefan I added the account's "note" to the site as well and I am experimenting with getting how active an account is. Not sure what I'll do with that if I ever finish it.

I think you will have to add the "text-break" class to the "post-author" DIV tag to fix the description text overflowing.
