Although itemLabel and placeLabel are now missing, but I can't really see why from the code.

@daelba Ah, okay, I guess it's the "SERVICE wikibase:label" part that adds the labels? And maybe that's what takes up the extra time.
It looks like the original query is working again, maybe it was just a temporary glitch after all.
Either way, really appreciate you looking into this!
