@damon I agree, even as someone running a Mastodon instance. It really isn't for everyone

Would you like to play Plato's Consciousness: a federated human-ran co-op text choose your own adventure game?
You can start a new game by replying to the OP or choose your own adventure from the last post.

@BobMastodon [You #Pickup the projector and marvel at how light it is and how hollow it feels.] You focus the beam and sweep it around the cave. The anthracite walls are mostly featureless. A fracture extends out from one of the round room's "corners". Do you: A) Narrow your focus on the fissure in the ceiling (Turn to page 46) B) Continue to search for anything else to help you on your way (Turn to page 410) C) Set the projector back up and soak in some more of that sweet heat of fear/hateaganda (Turn to page 69) ♤♡◇♧♤♡◇♧♤♡◇♧♤♡◇♧ NOTE FROM PLATO'S CLOSET ○Any players are free to join in at any time to continue from the last play or earlier in the adventure ○There is no game master, so anyone is free to move the game forward or take a turn as the player trying to exit the cave ○Partipate in your own liberation & the liberation of others #PlatosCon #PlatoCon #CYOA #Anarchist #Game

@ch0ccyra1n Your opinion would be a good as anyone’s. You use it everyday and are away it’s not for everyone and that’s okay, that’s what I love about the Open Social Web. There’s something for everyone

@damon same. As someone running my own mastodon instance and had migrated before, causing me to lose friends, I feel kinda stuck here.
Being fairly unknowledgeable with Linux and the migration process being quite broken, I'm not sure I feel comfortable spinning up something else because I don't want to lose people again.

@BeAware I would suggest Akkoma, it’s been a great experience. But yeah, I understand what you mean
