I am ready to move from Big Tech. But more than that, I want to find apps that are not under US juristiction and that are hosted on European soil.

With a EU-US-CA trade war, US-based tech services may be affected. I also do not trust that private data hosted under US juristiction will in fact private or safe in the future.

Therefore, I am looking for a new email service. Ideally, one that offers verified email adresses.

@jon , could Vivaldi consider offering an e-mail service with electronic id verification like BankId? There must be a big market of users right now looking for alternatives to gmail.

@LiseSw , we do provide Vivaldi.net mail, but only in limited supply. I think FastMail and Proton Mail are good alternatives as well.

Adding BankID would be a larger undertaking for us, so there are no plans for that, but it is an interesting idea.
