Hey @Vivaldi , with Linux why forcing the use of a keyring ? For f-god sake why isn't there an UI for asking the user if they want to use it or not before making a forced database conversion into it without the user being aware of what's going on ???
This is so infuriating, and makes me question how did you learn to make software developement. What's the process for reverting this and being able to continue your browser, without a keyring, and without dataloss ?

The issue is caused by how Chromium works with the Linux ecosystem, so it’s not just a Vivaldi specific issue. On our side, we are actively exploring ways to improve and add various prompts, so your feedback is timely and we apologize for the trouble you’ve encountered.Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be possible to revert things from the point you’ve reached.
But to skip the keyring use in the future, you can use the parameter --password-store=basic.
