make no qualms about it: MSNBC (as well as NBCUniversal in general with the apprentice) *created* Trump as a political persona.
i used to work at a place where we would always have morning joe on in the morning — and at least once a week, they would be taking a call from Trump, who would generally offer up the most boring of political takes.
so when i see Rachel Maddow on MSNBC talking about how she doesn’t understand how we got here, like shouldn’t you know? it was *your* employer who set everything in motion…
