so apparently there is now a monstrosity called the dodge charger EV
here are my thoughts:
- it’s a coupé which is larger than a full size sedan (seriously it’s larger than my model 3 performance and it’s a coupé???)
- the base model costs $70,000+ lol
- my model 3 performance cost much less than $70,000 and has considerably better specs
- imagine having 800w of internal and external speakers dedicated to fake engine noisesi guess if it gets the divorced dads into EVs instead of trying to murder me with their brodozers every time i drive, maybe it will be useful for something
but no seriously, who is the target consumer for this thing. isn’t the point of a muscle car that it was a high performance car built out of cheap aftermarket upgrades? will boomers actually buy this thing? so many questions…

@ariadne I’m still waiting for someone to build an EV that has fake gears and clutch including fake stall support because real men only drive manual cars obviously
