I'm so tired of articles going "yes Trump is a fascist but he's also a preening disorganized moron who hates learning so we're going to be ok."

Basically every fascist leader has been an embarrassing weirdo. Hitler hated reading and literally called himself "the Wolf" while strutting around in his special incel costume. Mussolini flitted from ideology to ideology trying to get popular and gave himself terrible stomach problems because he insisted on a diet of milk and crackers. None of these people were cool supervillains.
