I really enjoy voting. I always feel empowered. My cynicism melts away when I see the people at the voting stations. I feel grateful that I can vote. I feel a deep responsibility to vote.I might vote at work (at VIU) which would be a first! I would like to vote with my daughter @Jade. They have never had advance voting stations at VIU so it was pretty awesome to see an email yesterday reminding everyone they could vote on campus!!

@chris I’m gonna put it off until the last possible moment I think. I’m on the fence and hoping something will sway me one way or the other before the final voting day.

@dx I may waffle a little in the voting booth, but I am about 90% sure on my vote, so I'd like to get it done. I am going to hopefully be a scrutineer for one of the parties in my local riding so I'm really looking forward to that too and I have to vote before I can do that.

@chris I’m back and forth daily about mine. I like our incumbent, but I have gripes about the party, so I’d like to lend support to the greens, and I think young, green around the ears candidates are a good thing to have in office sometimes actually, but also terrified of the Cons even if our riding is probably pretty safe.

@chris @Jade Grandma and Grandma went out for a romantic voting date this morning. I am inpressed with the flow of information about how, when and where to vote and how easy the whole process has been made. Folks at the polling station were cheerful, welcoming, thorough and efficient and we left feeling good about this aspect of our governing system.

addendum... my daughter was paying better attention than me and pointed out that voting at VIU was only happening on Wednesday and on Voting Day. So we're going to vote on Wednesday just for the fun of voting together!
