@ctt I know nothing about mushrooms at all lol. My experience begins and ends at using closed cup button mushooms in food

@andycarolan I’m with you. The only mushrooms that I know that are safe to eat are Shaggy Ink Tops, or something like that. You have to eat them when they first appear, as within a day or two their tops have dissolved into a puddle of black ink (though the original mushroom is white).

@ctt Oh wow, that's amazing... I really would love to discover more about mushrooms.
To be fair, I do occasionally use Shiitake and Porcini, but mostly to make Dashi for Japanese cooking. I forgot to mention them as I get dried ones for that.

@andycarolan I use to have them growing in the garden when I lived in Wales. I don’t know what caused them to grow there?
