My dog now waits for me to wake up so he can come up and hang out with me in my office on his new dog bed. It's kinda the best way to start a day. (When I'm not reminded that I have a lot of work to do in a few hours.)

Having a dog means that there will always be a creature that is happy to see you in the morning. (My husband is, too, usually, but he doesn't have a tail so I don't know.)
