About to try to sell a tonne of my old hardware and games this weekend. I wonder if it will be worth it / whether I'll regret it. Logically, I shouldn't since I haven't had the energy to turn some of it on for years, but... sale regret made me collect hardware in the first place.

@trezzer 8 years later, I still sort of regret ditching by cabinets of retro consoles. But I'm at mostly at peace with it now, partially because of Steam Deck and emulation in general.
And for what it's worth, there's a strange form of regret also attached with having all that hardware and barely turning it on. The anxiety of wondering how long it will keep working, etc.
it's a tough decision. Good luck!

@killyourfm You hit the nail right on the head in terms of my thoughts. I just feel like the C128D and A1000 are really cool pieces of hardware - and emulation won't replace that aspect. The other part of the equations is time taking its toll and that's what is pushing me to get rid of it - as well as to declutter and my lack of time to actually use the devices. I'm keeping my A1200 and CD32, though. I love those too much.

@trezzer ...and sometimes decluttering your physical living space can declutter your mind.
