I think it's going to be more important than ever that #Mastodon and the #fediverse are not centrally operated out of the US unlike almost every other social media platform out there.

@Matt_Noyes @CaitlinWaddick @ktoddbrown @edumerco @flancian @MarieVC I don't recall off the top of my head if May First has its servers in the U.S. or Mexico or both, but maybe we could add one of their VPS's to our organization membership? I'm not sure what kind of load they can support, and their security is not the best though compared to commercial providers I've used. May be worth looking into though depending on our operational requirements.
