@MattPalmer I got a chance to visit Cradle Mountain on a cold July day back in 1990. I would love to go back. I might get a chance next year. (I live in California, for context)

@pussreboots Oh cool, if you make it to Tassie again I recommend spending some time up in the North-West at the Tarkine coast. The coastline is otherworldly up there and it's not too far from Cradle!

Cradle has changed a lot. You can still find quiet on the higher tracks but it's been developed quite a lot since then!
