'Trump Bible' one of few that meet Walters' criteria for OK classrooms
According to the bid documents, vendors must meet certain specifications: Bibles must be the King James Version; must contain the Old and New Testaments; must include copies of the Pledge of Allegiance, Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights; and must be bound in leather or leather-like material.
The pledge, declaration, constitution are not standard Bible issue...

The KJ version is not authorized by the Catholic Church. (Nor by Jews, Muslims, Wiccans, or various other believers and/or non-believers.) WTG, OK. -
@cynblogger @knittingknots2: I don't think even the Anglicans typically use the KJV any more.

@raktheundead @cynblogger Some of the conservative US churches think the KJV had a special blessing from the Holy Spirit (that goes back a ways, but might be connected to tradition, the word Authorized and possibly copyright use over some versions like the NIV, along with some interpretations of some Early Modern English usage that doesn't mean what they prefer, along with a preference for Erasmus' Textus Receptus text over more modern standardized texts).
