Watching Garnt's "This Video Will Make You Feel Old...", about Brainrot predating Gen-Z, and he's kinda right. Kyoto Animation really 'started' the brainrot dance boom with Hare Hare Yukai (2006). Even Discotheque (2008) from Rosario + Vampire Capu2 happened after it.
