@killyourfm I heard that competition is good for the consumer, eh? And if Nintendo can pull off something like that, maybe Valve will follow suit in time. But we'll see. I have plenty of stuff on my wishlist and in my backlog that I can play

@thedoctor Oh, absolutely! The Deck will be a capable device for years to come, especially with indies and emulation. But my hidden hope here is that continued articles like this contribute in some small way to Valve bringing us a Steam Deck 2 sooner than "when we feel like it."

@killyourfm I find it kinda crazy how ray tracing is becoming a requirement when most entry level hardware cant handle it at all.

@ojonnysilva I'm not sure how to feel about it. I never thought we'd see hard requirements for hardware-level ray tracing this soon.
On the one one hand, I appreciate game developers pushing the envelope and trying to usher in truly next-gen graphics. On the other hand, it's such a subtle effect for how expensive it is to render...
