@djsundog Yes, also a neighborhood tool library would be great. (On the other hand, those things are loud even when electric, and it would be real nice if everyone did their yard work at the same time and it wasn't the effectively-constant background noise for eight months of the year.)

@djsundog Though now I'm wondering about the practicality of a block-wide version of the automated mowers. If I recall, some of the larger Husqvarna models use AGPS and a map, not buried wires, so maybe it's practical?

@djsundog This. Gosh I hate how so many people use "independence". People have tried to convince me to do all kinds of shit that make no sense with the only justification "uhm, because independence!"
