HOWEVER... I do post links to ALL our new content on our Threads account, which is opened up to the fediverse.
You can follow that account on mastodon. Just search for "[email protected]" and follow it.
A crude solution, but the only one I can manage at the moment.

@coffeegeek I don't see how that will help you. If people follow your threads account from Mastodon, and the threads post has a link to your website, your website will still be visited for preview cards.
The only solution I can think of, honestly, if you want to reach the Mastodon users and Fediverse platforms that generate preview cards, is, include your link to your article like always but also include an image with your post. Your website won't be visited then for a preview card.

@paul nope, that doesn't work. I tried that very method earlier today, and it brought down the website for 4 minutes.
