Google search is trash.

Google search is trash. I went to search for a something that happened in the past regarding a famous person who recently died. The search was "His Name keywords before:YYYY-MM-DD" and different variations of it.
Because this person recently died, many news publications online had an article about him.
Due to the way sites now serve their pages, old articles were coming up with his recent death info which had nothing in it regarding my keywords or date.
I was getting results for my keywords and before:YYYY-MM-DD but they weren't about him. They were serving the results because the websites were dynamically placing his death article on every page, even archived or old articles.
#Google and the way websites serve their archives is pure #enshittification
We need "do not use for search" elements on pages, esp pages that include "What's new or trending" so articles and content is not duplicated on irrelevant pages in search results. Next week, the man's obit article won't be new or trending on the erroneous result pages.

@paul I've noticed the same. Google Searches have become frustrating. I can't seem to find what I want. It makes too many assumptions and no matter what I try, I can't get it to focus on what I'm looking for.
It used to be so much better.
