Gonna gripe a little, please don't take offense.

@paul Nice idea.
I've made this kind of upgrade post recently, as I sew other people doing it, but yeah it's meaningless.
-
I waited a few days after the v4.2.12 upgrade to start the convo so not to seem like any one post was the issue.
I am just hoping maybe before the next upgrade, we can come up with a better way finally.
When V4.3 comes out, people are going to need a lot of help, and scrolling between those posts is going to burdensome.
During an upgrade is when we need each other the most for tips, things needed to be done or issues.

@paul Yep, I understand and agree with you point.
I just don't believe that this can be changed

Me either. lol But hoping we can encourage an additional tag.

#mastoSadmin successfully did not update :sparkles_pink: :sparkles_indigo: :sparkles_blue: :sparkles_cyan: let’s keep it up :blobcatartist: #2patch1week
Edit: Seriously though I 100% agree, I was thinking of posting a similar thing during the patch cycle.

@shanie I waited until the after the latest upgrade cycle to post this.
The fact that people were warning about a bad v4.2.11 update as far as the notification bug and to wait was hidden between so many "I just updated to v4.2.11" shows we need to come to a voluntary consensus about using the #MastoAdmin tag. Simply adding another tag with it, like #UpgradedMastodon or #UpgradedMasto would allow the upgrade posts to be filtered out.
I proud so many people upgrade and love to hear the stories.

Don't be sorry. I didn't mean anything negative. Just wanted to start a convo. I think adding an upgrade tag with it would be a great solution because we can filter those out behind a warning.
