I really want to modify my Ubiquiti router to use Let's Encrypt, but the fact that there have been somewhere between 2 and 4 different things called "Unifi OS" with radically different architectures, makes me feel like using < https://github.com/unifi-utilities/unifios-utilities> and then leaving auto-upgrades would be a time bomb that will ruin my day at some point in the future. Is this fear warranted?

@[email protected] i can't speak to ubiquiti but i can speak to leaving stuff alone with automatic unattended upgrades: only do this with systems you regularly interact with. they WILL break eventually and you probably want to be there when it happens.

for stuff that you rarely interact with: no. never use unattended updates of any sort.
