testing the theory that mast of don only checks maximum video length when the video needs to be transcoded bc it's the wrong codec/color space, but otherwise takes anything below 99MB.

hmm it uploaded correctly, but a lot of instances bounced it with a 413, which would be nginx rejecting it not mastodon, so it should be remote load and our proxy server should just pass that through, but for some reason the direct link to the file int he bucket works: https://neuromatchstodon.us-east-1.linodeobjects.com/media_attachments/files/113/055/040/896/071/318/original/793ecf02f58cb00b.mp4
but the proxy link doesn't when it works for other videos and images: https://media.neuromatch.social/media_attachments/files/113/055/040/896/071/318/original/793ecf02f58cb00b.mp4

weird thing about encoding stuff ridiculously small is that usually video bitrates are way higher than audio maybe for obvious reasons, but when you get really really small the ratio narrows and you can only drop so far with audio before it's hellish, but you can keep cranking on video for awhile before you can't tell what's going on.
