On the topic of the recent issue between myself, Eugen, and the Mastodon project, upon some reflection and time I've decided to edit my previous statement.
I want to find ways for us to all work better together, for the betterment of all those who use Mastodon. I've also reached out to Eugen directly about this.

Over the past few days a series of miscommunications between @[email protected] , the @[email protected] team, and myself occurred. These did push me to a point of outrage, leading to the original version of this post. I'm happy to continue spending the time, money, and effort contributing to #Mastodon, and wish to work with the team and Eugen to find better ways to work together. The team is super busy, need more funding & staff to achieve the full potential. Let's work on working better together.

@janl yeah, I'm not immune to acting in anger or frustration, but I do want to see things improve for the project.

@thisismissem I’ll be honest - this feels quite worrying. @Gargron still hasn’t said anything publicly about it, but the woman who made the accusation suddenly backs down.

@awfulwoman I'm wanting to be clear here: it's not that I'm "backing down" but I'm trying to find a more positive way to move forwards instead of angrily calling out what appears to be shitty behaviour publicly.
I've had quiet a few people try to take away my agency and act like I can't cool of and reapproach things in a different manner.
