Everyone: what are you doing to cope with your own shock and grieving over the election? Put those in the comments.
I do hope this community can be a place of comfort, and connection. At my main account @tchambers I'll be posting some ways I am and will boost those here.

@KamalaHarrisWin @tchambers To cope, I am seeking and sharing the best ideas from the best people who are providing advice to people who agree with the ideals of Kamala Harris. For example, Sen. Elizabeth Warren had some good advice for us, and I already shared it here today.

After processing the initial grief I'm getting to work at the tasks that we would have had to do regardless of the election outcome:
1) figure out how to break through the cloud of disinformation and help more normal voters see past the deluge of MAGA noise, and
2) lay the groundwork to run effective campaigns to replace the compromised office-holders
Also
3) because of this outcome I have to talk some people back from the cliff of disengagement -

@tchambers @heidilifeldman “Something useful to do after major real-world events: Evaluate and cull your sources of information and social media. Did a source make your smarter or dumber about what was happening? Did it teach you things you didn't know, even if you disagreed with its arguments? Or did it merely provide empty internet calories of outrage or conventional wisdom? If the latter, time to move on.”

@KamalaHarrisWin @tchambers @heidilifeldman Thank you (and the real Kamala) for all you have done.
I don't accept any of the finger pointing. You/we fought a good fight. We must continue.
Again, I (for one) appreciate all you have done.
Putin, Orban, Netanyahu, RN, AfD, Trump, Xi, Kim Jong Un, Khamenei, etc. are all symptoms of the same problem. We can not give up.

Gov. Tim Walz in Minnesota:
"Look, folks: I know this is a hard moment. It's hard to lose. It's hard to understand how so many of our fellow citizens—people Democrats have long fought to help—wound up choosing the path they did."
"So if you're feeling deflated and discouraged today, I want you to know that I get it … Take care of yourself. Take care of your loved ones. Take care of your community. There are a million ways to make a difference—get back in the fight when you're ready."
