@chris Of course we do. Don’t let trump steal our decency too.

@chris The "war" is on the regime and the corporations that suck up to it, and not the people.

@chris Cuba offered assistance post Hurricane Katrina (rejected by the U.S.), despite 60 years of US economic terrorism.

@ai6yr devil's advocate here:
(ftr I voted Yes Of Course)
Ok, most people in California voted for Trump... so by that logic, if a fire breaks out in North Carolina then we're ok letting them burn?
But as far as "going down the wrong path”... where are the protests in the USA in our defence?
Feeling a little... ok, a lot... abandoned here and not by the fools who voted for him.
He's every American's President now.
That means every American shares responsibility for what he's doing.

@chris Hey, we'd fucking get rid of him if we could. In respect for everyone's pissy mood... muting you for a week and hopefully we'll both be in a better mood.

@ai6yr Just playing devil's advocate here. But yes, your President has put two entire countries in a damn pissy mood. I think we have every right to be.
Here's hoping you figure out how to get rid of him long before his 4 years is up.
and as Mike said... I knew the answer to the poll before I posted it.
We'd be there the second after the call came in.

@chris When wildfires hit our region of BC in 2023 California firefighters assisted quickly. The enemy is not the American people, it’s Trump and his Magat sycophants.

@chris I've known many Indigenous Canadians, they tell me there isn't much difference between KKKlanada and Americkkka, with the exception that we have Trump.

@josuex I wouldn't argue with that perspective.

@chris Here is a way to help California in an emergency: ask them to temporarily become 11th province, we send help and once done, they can rejoin the republic of Trumplandia. During the time of help, canadians can import duty-free california fruits and vegetables but everything shipped west of California incurs 25% US import tax

@chris we need to keep the high ground. Anything else will legitimize Trump's incursion. We need to take a page from Ukraine's book on this one.
