This historic event will get a lot less press than the retiring of Hawaii Mars, but it is almost a more impressive feat to get Hawaii's sister Phillipine to Arizona!
She hasn't taxiied or flown for 17 years, before she was re-painted in her historic blue!
Yesterday, in the strong #BCStorm winds, she was storming across the lake and looking fantastic!! I bet the pilots could hardly keep her from lifting off!

She really is gorgeous in that US Navy blue!
I hope to get some video of her this weekend!More details and photos at the link below! She'll hopefully be at the Pima Air and Space Museum before December!

Philippine Mars Begins Water Trials
In April, the Pima Air and Space Museum announced its acquisition of the Philippine Mars. Since then, Coulson Aviation personnel have been preparing the aircraft for its ferry flight to Arizona.
