#Fediverse Question: I have seen mention that one could perhaps setup an account on Bluesky in order to relay ones Mastodon/Fediverse posts to that platform? Is this true or am I getting something wrong here.
Similarly, is this kind of thing possible for Threads?
Until these services federate completely (which I think is inevitable) it would be nice to at least be able to ensure fediverse posts got into those realms.

@chris There's a bridge that allows you to see posts from someone you follow on Bluesky, and the other way around. No new accounts needed, but you both need to follow the bridge account. @bsky.brid.gy
With Threads, you can follow people on there who enabled the integration in their settings, but they might not see everything you do (I've heard they don't see likes), and I don't think they can reply to our messages.
There's an option of crossposting (w/ accounts on bsky/threads).

@Anibyl @chris @bsky.brid.gy That's what I did. I have a mutual on bluesky now (an old mutual here who left). I figure having mastodon addresses on bluesky is free advertising for when bluesky messes up.

@Anibyl oh ok. So then I guess I don't need to do anything. I have already followed that one. And I think I have followed a couple of bluesky people. Is there a way to see the accounts of people on bluesky?

Well, maybe I'll make a project of it one day and find a bunch of people who are only on bsky that I might want to follow and then go and find them manually.
