@LALegault @lowies @ianhecht 30 projected elected in the ridings, no winner yet, but they're watching for a potential #31 in Moose Jaw. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

@chris @LALegault @lowies @ianhecht Ah well. A wave of change in Saskatchewan didn’t seem too likely. Still, the dream was nice.

The CBC reporting that the SK Party is elected in 30 seats. Only 31 needed for a majority. I think we'll be getting a call soon for an SK Party win, but it is still a much closer legislature than before.
Seats Leading (Popular Vote)
SKP: 34 (53.2%)
NDP: 27 (39.1%)
Seats Outstanding: 0
Needed for Majority: 31 -

I am still optimistic that a big robust NDP opposition could be a sign of things to come.

Realistically was hoping for an NDP sweep of Regina and Saskatoon. Almost got it. Just waiting for Saskatoon Willowgrove to fall in line!

That took a long time! Even more me, 1 hour behind in timezone. The NDP did very well likely doubling their seats and very nearly pulling off an upset.
The Sask Party wins a 5th consecutive government mandate.
But did they get put on notice?
I'm out folks! Thanks for following along!

Ugh. What's it going to take? They're going to do this for four more years with a dang majority too
What about Tommy Douglas? (Sigh)

@LALegault @lowies @cjgyt @ianhecht I firmly believe, no matter what the location, voting is not about “dumb or smart”.
It’s hearing what you want to hear.
The party or person that taps into what most voters want to hear wins. (even if they do that through lies and outright propaganda)
It means nearly *any* issue can win (or lose) an election if the message resonates.
