Imagine space aliens who visit in 200 years and find a destroyed planet. They learn that we were fully aware of climate change, but our political leaders would not take the actions needed TO SAVE THE PLANET in order to please oil company shareholders.

What would these space aliens think of our intelligence level? Killing our long term civilisation to short term please oil company shareholders.
