@chris It's absolutely diabolical of Canada Post's management to be doing this!! Utterly absurd. The workers do not deserve even more stress than this.
Thankfully CUPW has notified workers to advise their supervisor, and I believe to file a grievance of somekind.
This is so nasty of Canada Post.

@chris Unbelievable! And disgraceful and should be illegal if it’s not. I am shocked at the disreputable tactics of #CanadaPost. Foreign-owned #CdnMedia continues to refuse to play its role which is to advocate for citizens and positions issues accurately. Instead, it feeds us “corporate opinion”. #PMJT please protect workers !

@chris my neighbour is striking, he said he is getting $56 a day for strike pay, about $15 a day less than EI.
The start pay for mail delivery folks in BC is $21/hr. For a clerk, $19. A living wage in BC is $24.
The Canadian Tax Payer Foundation states the federal government dished out $406,422,221 in bonuses last year. FOUR HUNDRED MILLION. That is in addition to salaries like the $500,000/ yr the CEO of Canada Post makes.
Give them their GD contract.
