What I would pay a bunch of cold-hard cash for right now:
An #ElectricCar with zero touch-screens and zero wireless connections.

Make an #ElectricCar with a dashboard that looks like this and watch how fast I throw my money at you.

@louis converting classic cars does require cash, but your grandchildren will appreciate what youve done to enable that classic to coninue being a classic ride without the stigma of its fossil fuel heritage.
Modular battery packs that rotate through your classic car collection would be optimal.

@vevabc @louis I have a 1976 Fiat Spider that has been in the family since the 80s. It needs a lot of body work for restoration. I only want to restore if I can convert to EV. I am just at the moment now where I am deciding on building a small garage for it or whether to just scrap it and focus my energy (and limited funds) on other things. Hard decision. I would so love to be able to pass it along!

@chris @vevabc @louis my 1st was a DIY conversion (2007). It was a labour of love and personal growth experience, but expensive!
What you end up with is a one off that will not be easy to sell, as few can service it. The good thing is that electric components are very reliable if desiged & installed correctly.
My suggestions: get a quote on body restoration costs first. Those costs have soared recently. 2nd, cost out a kit from canev.com #evConversion
