I see the Mitra subscription icon changed from the dollar sign coin to a starburst icon... personally I preferred the clear visual connotation to money, but I guess this works too.

@japananon I decided to try a different icon because subscribers can be added without a payment. In the future I want to completely de-couple subscriptions from payments and let server operators use this feature without installing a monero wallet.
If you prefer the old icon I can make it configurable. The new icon is used for post visibility and in sidebar, payment notifications still have the dollar sign in them.

@silverpill By "decouple", do you mean that the subscription system could operate without any payment component at all, and that payment would be an optional extension of it? What would be the main difference between Subscribers and Followers in this case... Subscriber Only Posting?
I actually had to click on the starburst icon before I realized it was the new Subscription Management section... it's not really a big deal in the scheme of things, but it's actually hard to think of a good, simple icon to represent "Subscriptions" as a concept when it isn't associated with money.

Yes, without a payment component. Currently you can't enable subscriptions on a server without configuring Monero integration. But some operators may want to use a different payment method (e.g. Bitcoin or fiat), or they may want to use their Mitra server as a backup for Patreon (or a similar service) and manually copy subscribers from there.

They would be just two different tiers. Subscriber tier may require payment, and will be visually distinguished (I still need to figure out how to do it). Other than that, not much practical difference.

I went with starburst because I noticed that some (centralized) services started to use a similar icon. But you're right, it is not descriptive, and it is hard to tell what it is about when navigation menu is compacted.
I can bring back the dollar sign, or, alternatively, move subscription management from the navigation menu to Settings. As a creator you typically need to visit it only once, and others don't need it at all, so it probably shouldn't be in the main menu anyway.
