@ankokukishi You mean this Mitra instance? Does the same issue occur with other Mitra servers?
Fediverse Observer checks all servers in the fediverse and gives you an easy way to find a home using a map or list.
Mitra Fediverse Servers. Find a Mitra server to sign up for, find one close to you!

paging @silverpill in, he might have more insight. Probably some conflict in the way the browsers render shit.

I tried the .076.moe instance and it didnt work either.
I typically use librewolf to access here, but i wanna try to move everything to either pale moon or seamonkey as much as i can.

@ankokukishi @japananon The default frontend requires a relatively modern browser, so I'm not surprised that Pale Moon didn't work.
Is Seamonkey based on an up-to-date Gecko engine? Firefox ESR level would suffice. Are there any errors in browser console? Also, Mitra is compatible with Bloat frontend which should work everywhere.
-
@silverpill @ankokukishi I'd need to install Bloat FE on the Mitra server for that to be an option, right?
-
@japananon @ankokukishi Yes. It should be installed on a different subdomain
-
what i dont understand is why otter browser works but seamonkey and pale moon dont.
-
@ankokukishi @japananon Otter is built on QtWebEngine, which probably uses a fairly recent Chromium/Blink
