@mattl I'm my own streaming service. I use Symfonium to connect to Nextcloud Music on my home server.

I'm envisioning a thing I can run on a computer somewhere on my local network accessible only on my local network that has a web interface akin to YouTube, Vimeo, etc. but is filled with videos I've sourced from wherever. Not super invested in it having an app for AppleTV or anything like that.

@mattl I commonly use FM radio streams on Transistor (https://f-droid.org/packages/org.y20k.transistor/) or music from https://ten-thousand-sounds.com/ a #faircamp aggregator.

@mattl Woops, restarted the daemon a few times, now it suddenly works now.

@mattl Now, libre.fm shows the current song, but not the song before, although it was displayed there before.

@jak2k That's caching. Once you've played a few songs it starts to catch up. To keep things working your profile page is cached for I think 9 mins.

@mattl When reloading, the song is sometimes shown in recent, but sometimes not. Is that really just caching?

@jak2k Yeah, there are multiple servers on the back end and they each have their own caches.
