Years ago as a paid intern (I know actually paid, so rare) I got to package Dragon Naturally Speaking using Winstall, for the company lawyers.
Automation was already coming for the secretaries.
As part of being sure I packaged it properly I had to test it using my voice.
Dragon naturally speaking was better over 20 years ago, than many voice recognition systems are now.
Well, in terms of recognising what a Scottish person says if they don't use dialect levelling.

Funny history: founders sold out for shares in the acquiring company. Those shares dropped to nothing when the acquirer got caught doing financial fraud, biggest scandal before Enron! So they kind of gave away their proprietary software for free lol.

@douginamug we packaged 3.0 although oddly not with the legal add-ons.
Although we did have to test it would take input from recorders for voice memos.
