@mookie You’d still have to choose a ‘canonical’ domain in some way, to prevent fragmentation of your posts being known from one domain or the other?

Interesting question. This is like with email. Do you want your emails to be sent from one email address with aliases? Or do you want multiple inboxes?
I'd like the second. Where in a Fediverse server can host multiple domains, each partitioned from the others.
Taking @mastohost as an example: They'd run just one instance of the software, but that software has multi-tenancy. This way they can host lots of domains without having each domain run on their own instance of the software.
