Far out. I'm buying modern, high tech #EV. Can't wait.

But, my dealer wants a bank cheque. A WHAT? Is it still last century? FFS.

My account doesn't even offer bank cheques - it took a 40km round trip to find this out... I didn't know, because who uses bank cheques anymore? Not me! I can only get one if I transfer money to a bank with obsolete services, & visit in person (30km round trip, opposite direction).

The dealer says this is the easiest/most reliable way.

@thefathippy That's bizarre to me. I've never used a cheque in my life. What could be easier or more reliable than a card payment or bank transfer?
